The Private School Journalism Association commends Brimmer and May’s Head of School Judith Guild for agreeing to PSJA’s Model Affirmation Statement for Student Press Rights.
Brimmer is the first school in New England to sign on.
“This is a monumental first step led by my amazing Head of School, Judith Guild,” PSJA Director David Cutler said. “It sets the bar for other private schools in the area to follow suit, and I strongly encourage them to do so. It costs nothing to make the agreement, and it means everything to students and to putting rubber to the road when it comes to mission and philosophy alignment.”
